  CONTESTANTS

CATEGORY INFORMATION

  1. Talent 15%: Singing, dancing, recitations or dramatic readings in good taste, instrumentalists, magicians, acrobatics or gymnasts. Modeling is not acceptable.

  2. Interview 30%: A panel interview with the judges with questions from the application and bio forms. Additional questions can come from current events, teen issues or workshop sessions.

  3. Personality Profile 15%: A display of creativity, energy and uniqueness based on a topic/attribute designated by the organization related to pageant theme.

  4. Speech/Presentation 20%: Contestant gives name, age, city, state or county; outlines achievements in school, social, civic or community activities and plans for the future projecting personality, articulation, and enthusiasm within 30 seconds.

  5. Formal Wear 15%: Long youthful gown and corresponding shoes with a modest heel no higher than 1 inch.

  6. Community Service 5%: A presentation booklet outlining community involvement through school, community or civic groups.

AUXILIARY AWARDS

Miss Photogenic – judged by our photographer based on the overall look, including smile, attire and presence of the teen's photo.

Georgia Peach Award – given to the contestant who exemplifies a warm spirit, kind nature, open-mind and respect for others. This award is voted on by the contestants.

Community Service Award – given to the contestant who demonstrates active and continuous involvement in her community through volunteer activities with a minimum of 80 service hours for the designated time period.

Academic Excellence Award – given to the contestant with the highest GPA

Executive on the Rise – presented to the contestant who sells the most ads (minimum: $750)
